J’ai été confronté ce matin a cette petite erreur joyeusement fourni par k3b…J’avais déja rencontré le problème par le passé sous 2008.1 en utilisant les kernels tmb, mais je n’y avais pas prêté attention étant donné que j’avais opté pour graver alors sur l’imac de madame. Là j’ai fait un peu de recherche sur google et j’ai fini par trouver la solution.
Initialement il est fait mention de problème rencontré essentiellement avec des chipsets intel une vague histoire de drivers pata/sata interrogeant simultanément un périphérique donné, une solution proposée est donc de passer un argument supplémentaire au kernel a savoir combined_mode=libata étant donné que le kernel de mandriva (2.6.26.1-desktop-1mnb) a switcher sur la libata pour un certain nombre de matériels. Après reboot, le problème persistant un petit lsmod m’a montré que ide_generic était toujours chargé (et donc potentiellement capable de créer des conflits), j’ai donc opté pour une solution un peu plus radicale a savoir regénérer mon initrd *sans* le support des modules ide
mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.6.26.1-desktop-1mnb.img 2.6.26.1-desktop-1mnb –omit-ide-modules -f -v
un reboot et le tour était joué, je pouvais de nouveau
